Situated in Szczawno-Zdrój, the atelier (Szopa) serves as the primary engine where night visions acquire physical form. Isolated from commercial pressure, linear time, and mathematical calculations, it is a realm governed exclusively by raw creation.
The space is defined by the aroma of freshly chiselled linden wood, scorched timber, and coal-black pigments—a sensory asylum protecting Michał from the anxieties of the external world.

Michał does not treat wood as passive material. For an object to live, it must pass through fire and manual effort.

III. Ontological Cycles
Deeply connected to Wałbrzych’s industrial heritage, Michał frequently depicts underground workers and ancestral spirits. The memory of his grandfather Stefan serves as a pillar for honoring labor, grit, and historical memory.
Maintaining a Geppetto-like metaphysical bond with his wooden creations, Michał treats his figures as living entities. Some act as guardians protecting his sanctuary, while others represent hostile forces navigated through art.
