Radio Wrocław — "The Wałbrzych Nikifor"

Operating completely outside conventional parameters of time or linear numbers, 30-year-old self-taught artist Michał Walczyk has publicly unveiled his complex wooden carvings and paintings within the urban center.

"I found this raw artistic output to be exceptionally compelling and profound."
— Joanna Kostrzewska, Gallerist

Prompted by a massive, lifelong archive of work guarded in isolation, the artist's brother, Maciej Walczyk, initiated the digital preservation layer to project the paracosm online. Concurrently, high-tier institutional spaces in both Kraków and Prague have extended formal exhibition proposals to monitor and absorb his upcoming cycles.

Gazeta Wyborcza — "Carving, Painting, Chronicling"

Signing his sovereign creations under the pseudonym Pan Miś, the special school alumnus is recognized as a rare architect of visionist paintings and profound sculptural expressions executed directly on flat wood.

"Michał lacks standard cognitive frameworks for counting or tracking time, but he has carved and painted since early childhood. His physical output is monumental."
— Maciej Walczyk, Curator & Brother

Operating from an autonomous outdoor studio known familiarly as "The Shed," the raw artist was bridged to the institutional gallery sphere after specialists from his daily support infrastructure recognized the raw, pure-hearted aesthetic significance of his unaltered universe.
